What is the Purity Award?*

The Clean Label Project* Purity Award examines items for chemicals that would never appear on the product label. These compounds include hazardous chemicals, as well as industrial and environmental toxins and contaminants (such as heavy metals, pesticide residues, and plasticisers) that have the potential to harm one's health and well-being over time. The Clean Label uses benchmarked data to compare individual product test results to the test results of the best-selling items in the same category. 

Bubs formula products are Clean Label Project Certified

• The Project Clean is a non-profit organization changing the definition of food and consumer safety through data, science, and transparency. They recognize brands with products that proactively focus on purity and voluntarily surpass minimum FDA requirements.
• All Bubs infant formulas are independently tested by the Clean Label Project for 400+ toxins and contaminants including:
• Heavy metals like lead, cadmium, arsenic, and mercury
• Pesticides like glyphosate 
• Plasticizers like phthalates and bisphenols
• Bubs was also the first line off formula to meet the Clean Label Project’s First 1,000 Day Promise standard which uses elements of European food regulations to recognize brands that are below contaminant thresholds in products targeting pregnant women, infants, lactating mothers, and children.

• The Clean Label Project Association Baby Coalition is a trade association of leading brands dedicated to Improving infant, child, and maternal health through education on the risks of toxins and contaminants and advocating for reform. 

Bubs Owns and Operates our Own Manufacturing Facility

• Comply with all Australian State & Federal Regulatory and export quality control requirements
• Are GSFI certified (Global certification standard FSSC 22000), a certifying standard recognized globally for high-quality requirements
• Are audited by Australian State regulators every 6 months which includes a stringent pathogen monitoring program

Bubs formula products...

• Are produced in our Bubs-owned and controlled manufacturing facility in Australia, including our Bubs Toddler Nutritional Drinks.
• Before being permitted to leave our facility, they are tested for microbiological parameters before being approved for release.
